Valentines is on the way. Woohoo. My crafty girl had a vision for her home-made valentine cards and she needed doilies. You know, the white ornamental paper mats...no problem. I was so wrong. Little did I know this simple request would increase my carbon footprint enough to melt a glacier. We went to the art store, the craft store, the grocery store, and two drug stores. No doilies. Finally someone suggested the cooking store and voila' -- doilies up the yin yang. Maybe I'm the only mom who didn't know this, but thought I would give you the scoop and maybe help save the environment in the process.
